What we do
Cameron Strategic Management, LLC (CSM) is a verified small business owned by a service-disabled veteran, according to the Small Business Administration (SBA) and is eligible to participate in the Veterans First Contracting Program. CSM specializes in offering project management solutions for a wide variety of projects, ranging from construction and facility support services to procurement. One of our main areas of expertise is fire protection projects and services.
We prioritize establishing strong relationships with both government and commercial entities, which allows us to fully understand the needs and preferences of our customers. Our capabilities extend from handling small tasks like inspecting backflow preventers to undertaking large-scale projects such as managing the fire protection contract for Fort Cavazos. Comprehensive Quality Assurance Program – CSM not only uses an internal quality assurance plan, but they also bring in outside entities to perform quality checks as well. This honest perspective allows CSM to pivot and ensure that all products are too standard.
Emphasis on Safety – CSM employees are well trained in safety. All our employees are CPR certified, as well as competent person trained in areas such as confined space and fall protection. To date CSM has had zero reportable injuries or safety incidents.

We do not low-ball bids and then expect change orders, rather we do market research to ensure that we are getting the best price possible and then passing that on to the client. This technique saves the clients money, while allow them to plan an accurate budget for the project.

about eric
Eric Cameron joined the United States Army in November of 1990 as an Airborne Infantryman. During his time in service he would be stationed at Fort Richardson, AK. Fort Bragg, NC. Fort Benning, GA. Fort Irwin CA, Fort Hood, TX. Fort Carson, CO. and Fort Bliss, TX. He served in every leadership position from Team Leader to Battalion Command Sergeant Major before retiring in May of 2015. While serving in the Army he attended numerous military schools to include the United States Sergeants Major Academy, Pathfinder School, Jumpmaster School and Drill Sergeant School. He also graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Management, and Excelsior University with a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Leadership.
After retirement, Eric began running the Fort Hood fire protection contract as a project manager. During this time he became a NICET certified licensed fire sprinkler designer. After running the Fort Hood (now Fort Cavazos) fire protection contract for two different companies, Eric started Cameron Strategic Management. He now focuses on a broad scope of Government contracts to include fire protection, mechanical, electrical and general construction. He plans on continuing to grow the company for many years to come.
